What does ecological sustainability mean?
This includes evidence of the environmental performance of organizations and products. This is based on life cycle assessments and climate impact assessments and forms the basis for various formats: CSRD reports, EPDs, Cradle-to-Cradle certifications, Green Building certifications, etc.
The EPD format has been established in the construction sector for years. In the future, CE marking will be linked to environmental verification.

ecosy location at the environmental campus
We were founded at the Environmental Campus in Birkenfeld, Germany's most sustainable university – ranked 3rd internationally (UI GreenMetric Ranking 2023). Here, we combine our sustainability topics with teaching and research, work together with students, and cooperate with local institutes.
